As a Business Development Specialist at Smarterminds, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical Software expertise and business development initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the growth of our software solutions by leveraging your hands-on experience as a Business Developer and your deep understanding of the software engineering environment. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with the company’s strategic goals.
• Build strong relationships with potential clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Negotiate and close partnership agreements and contracts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust business strategies as necessary.
• Prepare documents, respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFQs (Requests for Quotation), ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.
• Manage both current and new accounts.
• Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing business growth strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Experience in negotiating deals and managing partnerships.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of CRM tools and business development software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
